Job Captain
Samuel is a new team member at ECA, and works closely with our consulting team. He continues in the footsteps of our team acting as an advocate and expert for Cooperative and Condominium Boards. He has design and project management experience in high-end residential and commercial architecture that ensures he understands the challenges of project approvals and construction itself.
Samuel was born and raised in Venezuela where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture at the Central University of Venezuela. During his years in college, he traveled around Latin America and Europe and expanded his appreciation of the diversity of architecture. After practicing architecture in Venezuela, in 2016 he moved to the United States to start an English program in Chicago. In 2017 he started working as an intern in a high-end residential and commercial firm in Chicago where he spent 3 years working and becoming an assistant project manager. After this experience, he joined a General Construction firm as a project manager and estimator. From there he made the leap to NYC and joined our team at ECA.
During his time in Chicago, he was involved in The American Institute of Architects in activities such as “Architects in School” teaching bilingual middle school students in Latino communities about architecture. Samuel also participated multiple times as an invited architect in critiques for Architecture students in The School of Art Institute of Chicago.
